Total Hours Interviewed: 8 Interview Comments: I submitted my resume through alumni at my school. There was a short phone screen where I did some pseudocode and answered some simple questions. After that they fly you out to Redmond, where you go through the full interview loop. Sort the elements in a string by the number of times they appear in the string, preserving original order when tied. How would you test a function that returns true if two rectangles intersect. Everyone goes over the projects on your resume, be prepared to talk about them in depth. They want stories of trials you have overcome and conflicts you've had with other people. Be able to list three strengths and weaknesses. Read Programming Interviews Exposed by John Mongan, and practice coding on a whiteboard. Try to relax and have fun while your out there. |
